High frequency electromagnetic emissions of cylindrical laminated cores
Résumé
The behaviour of laminated cores used for rotating machines or transformers is well known at low frequencies close to the working frequency. However, for higher frequencies, the influence of the eddy currents and the skin effect is dominating: the behaviour of the laminated cores, particularely for electromagnetic emissions, is more complex. The aim of this paper is to characterize the electromagnetic emissions of a cylindrical laminated core. The proposed model takes into account the eddy current influence. An experimental approach evaluating the accuracy of the analytical model is then described. Finally a study of the method validity domain is made
