Influence of a repetitively pulsed plasma on the flame stability domain of a lab-scale gas turbine combustor
Résumé
The present paper reports an experimental study of the influence of a nanosecond repetitively pulsed discharge on the flame stability domain of a lean premixed swirled combustor representative of gas turbine combustion chambers. The lean extinction limits of the flame without and with plasma are determined and compared. It appears that only low power is necessary to increase the flame stability domain. Lastly the effects of several parameters on the plasma device efficiency are studied.
