A 2R Mamyshev Regeneration Architecture Based on a Three-Fiber Arrangement

Résumé

The benefits of using a multi-segmented arrangement of optical fibers for Self-Phase Modulation-based 2R optical regeneration are demonstrated both theoretically and experimentally. Significant improvements in terms of the performance and practicality are achieved.
