Extended LMI Characterizations and Multiobjective Synthesis for Discrete Descriptor Systems

Résumé

This paper proposes new LMI characterizations for linear discrete-time descriptor systems. These formulations not only encompass the existing results for descriptor systems, but provide an alternative angle of view for reviewing the known extended LMIs for conventional state-space systems as well. An application of these LMIs with regard to the robust analysis and multiobjective synthesis is also investigated. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed LMIs.
