Résumé
This paper is an overview of recent advances in photonics structures obtained in erbium-activated glasses. The fabrication protocols as well as the spectroscopic assessment of: a) UV photoimprinting of channel waveguides on active SiO2–GeO2 sputtered thin films; b) spherical resonators , c) 1D microcavities.
