An Actively-modelocked Erbium-doped Fiber Laser Emitting over 30 Wavelengths Simultaneously with a 5 GHz Repetition Rate

Résumé

We demonstrate simultaneous modelocking of 30 wavelengths at 5 GHz in an actively modelocked erbium-doped fiber laser operating at room temperature using a frequency shifter and a 50 GHz periodic filter in a ring cavity.
