Detection of gear dynamics hypersensitivity and quantification of induced variability for mass produced gearboxes
Résumé
Uncertainty analyses in the field of vibration and acoustics require a high calculation cost. Many approaches have been developed to reduce it, and an original way to do it is to combine two methods: first, a localization step is performed in order to detect structural areas which are responsible on the main variability and secondly, we focus on the detected parameters to quantify the variations observed on the response of the structure. An illustration of this methodology is presented through the modal analysis of a gearbox.
