Asymptotic state prediction for continuous-time systems with delayed input and application to control

Résumé

An asymptotic predictor design is first proposed for linear time invariant systems, as an alternative to methods based on direct integral expressions. The convergence is guaranteed by sufficient conditions. Its possible extension to nonlinear systems as well as its use in control design are then presented, and illustrated via simulation examples.
