Complex Representation of Field Diffusion in Magnetic Materials Involving Saturation and Eddy Currents

The paper deals with the concept of effective permeability to use in problems expressed in terms of phasor quantities. A 1D problem involving magnetic saturation and eddy currents is solved by a time stepping method. A single time harmonic solution is also given for several definitions of the effective permeability.
