OFDR distributed temperature sensing at 800°C on a fiber with enhanced Rayleigh scattering profile by doping

Abstract

Distributed temperature sensing is performed up to 800°C by Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometry on a fiber with enhanced Rayleigh scattering profile. This fiber was drawn from a preform core-doped by zirconia-coated gold nanoparticles.
