LAET PRODUCTION
LAET (Transport Urban Planning Economics Laboratory) is an academic research unit specialised in transport economics and land use analysis. It is sponsored by the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) and the University of Lyon (University Lyon 2 and ENTPE – National School of Public Works –). LAET’s research activity is at the crossroads of transport, territories and the society. LAET research staff comes from various disciplines such as economics, engineering, geography or sociology and political science. It uses the concepts and tools of these disciplines, in order to: analyse and model the spatial mobility of persons and goods, as well as the residential and activity locations; evaluate transport and land use policy; provide the public community with decision support regarding critical issues in this field.
