The Sherpa/Romeo website has been redesigned this summer and proposes a new interface which declines the open access policies of the publishers, and not only those which concern the self-archiving.
HAL had to adapt to display in the deposit form only the information useful for self-archiving and to be simple to understand by the depositor.
What if you could complete your ORCID record with your publications deposited in HAL? This is now possible, even if you do not (yet) have an account in HAL.
HAL is now referenced by ORCID as a database that researchers can use to import their works.
