Résumé

We discuss observations of the static form factor St R(q) of the single chain, in amorphous polystyrene (M w = 650 000) in the submolecular range for different durations of relaxation tR after a sudden uniaxial elongation. The data resulting from these observations are given in the preceding letter to this Journal. They are displayed here in two different representations. The first is derived from a qtR1/4 superposition law for durations tR between the Rouse time and the terminal stress relaxation time, as in reference [1]. The second representation is derived from the assumed existence of a q independent relaxation time, equal to a macroscopic quantity, the terminal relaxation time.
