Ignorance, sciences et droit : dialectique des approches a priori et a posteriori in L. Canali, V. Delcroix, S. Diop
Abstract
To what extent do the a priori and a posteriori approaches to ignorance inform us about the relationship between science and law? This paper sets out to explore the answers in five stages. How are we ignorant? What are the uses in law of the expressions a priori and a posteriori? Between a priori ignorance and a posteriori ignorance, what general answers can be given in law? Between a priori ignorance and a posteriori ignorance in law, what specific answers should be given? Ignorance in science and law is it a matter of knowledge or understanding?
