This corpus brings together four philological and epigraphic studies arguing that the Tel Dan Stele is a first-century BCE document produced within the Herodian bilingual milieu, rather than an authentic ninth-century BCE Aramaic inscription. The studies address relative chronology, Koine Greek back-translation, intertextual analysis with the Psalms of Solomon, and a critique of the palaeographic consensus established by Demsky (1995).
