              <p>In this paper, we propose to adapt the beamforming frequency for ultra massive multiple-input multipleoutput uniform linear arrays allowing a maximum array gain while minimizing the angle deviation induced by the beamsquint effect. This original adapted frequency deviates from the center frequency fc. It paves the way for the beamforming frequency to be a degree of freedom. Our simulations show that the proposed analytical solution is close to the optimal numerical solution with less computational complexity.</p>
