            <abstract xml:lang="en">
              <p>In the forests of northeastern France, the expansion of “hunting management” practices – an environmental norm aimed at maximizing animal populations – has profoundly transformed hunting practices and class relations among hunters. Through a double ethnographic study conducted more than a decade apart in the same forest massif, this article analyzes how the rationalization of hunting has facilitated the gentrification of hunting groups and deepened divisions within the working class.</p>

              <p>En los bosques del noreste de Francia, la difusión de la «caza gestionada» -una norma medioambiental destinada a maximizar la población de jabalíes- ha transformado profundamente las prácticas cinegéticas y las relaciones de clase entre cazadores. A partir de un estudio etnográfico realizado en dos partes en el mismo bosque con diez años de diferencia, este artículo analiza cómo la racionalización de la caza ha provocado un aburguesamiento de los grupos de cazadores y acentuado las divisiones dentro de las clases populares.</p>

              <p>Dans les forêts du nord-est de la France, la diffusion de la « chasse-gestion » – une norme environnementale visant à maximiser les populations de sangliers – a profondément transformé les pratiques cynégétiques et les rapports de classe entre chasseurs. À travers une double enquête ethnographique menée à plus de dix ans d’intervalle dans le même massif forestier, cet article analyse comment la rationalisation de la chasse a favorisé l’embourgeoisement des groupements de chasseurs et accentué les divisions au sein des classes populaires.</p>
