Assesment of Perception and Attitude of Gayatri College of Pharmacy Students towards Online Teaching in COVID-19 Pandemic, A Cross Sectional Study

Back ground: The current COVID 19 situation has unleashed destruction on quite possibly the main system: schooling. It immensely affects learning of millions of children. There have been various approaches to meet the need for Students education since lockdown were executed. Furthermore Instruction has been likewise hampered by monetary Factors decreased its outcome. As indicated by studies, the pandemic has prevented just about 32 Crore understudies from getting schooling. The lack of Education provision has been alluded to as a public emergency, with far Reaching Impacts. Objective: The current Study Aims to assess the attitude of Senior B.Pharmacy Students of Gayatri College of Pharmacy Sambalpur towards online classes. Methodology: The Study is Undertaken as a Cross sectional Descriptive Survey Conducted online by Google Form. Descriptive Statistics are applied for Data analysis. Results: From the Selected Sample 11.76% Possessed an Unfavorable attitude towards online teaching method, while 32.5% had a moderately favourable attitude with 55.88% of Student Indicating favorable attitude towards online teaching methods. Conclusion: Regarding the Outcome Indicates that Students being more acquainted with online classes than Face to Face mode Classes due to many reasons like time consuming, Reduced travelling risk of accident, reduce infection and more time can spend with family. The quality of Learning is not seen as a major Factor.
