Résumé

Identifying constitutive parameters for composite materials often means relying on many tests, particularly when dealing with anisotropic models. To be able to design shorter test campaigns, this work aims to identify as many elastic parameters as possible for a layered composite through a single Iosipescu test. A weighted Finite Element Model Updating algorithm is employed to calibrate the material parameters. Preliminary sensitivity analyses determine which parameters are identifiable with respect to measurement uncertainties. To improve the number of identifiable parameters, the geometry of the sample is modified. Through explorations in the parameter space, maps of the number of identifiable parameters are determined. Last, orthotropic and elastic parameters are identified based on the optimized geometry.
