Abstract

This video presents experimental results obtained using the NOWA method (Netting Optic-floW detection Algorithm). In this video, an simulated drone navigates alongside a series of planar surfaces, which may consist of netting, solid walls, or a combination of both. The drone relies solely on visual information to detect and differentiate between these surfaces, highlighting the ability of the algorithm to handle poorly defined obstacles such as netting.
