Indicateur de cyclabilité à l'échelle de la voie de circulation
Résumé
Cycling mobility is becoming one of the major mobility means in city centers. It has more flexibility than car mobility and helps to stay healthy. With this growth of cycling mobility, urban planners need to create a cycling network optimizing safety, confort and eficiency without too much impact on other usages, which leads to multiple shared infrastructures. Studying the representation of the cycling network in spatial databases, we found that while the main usage is well represented, there is much missing informtation for secondary usages. Our hypothesis is that these representation issues can be addressed by the use of a more precise scale for spatial databases: the circulation lane. Using this scale, this paper presents a new bikeability indicator calculated at the scale of the circulation lane. We experimented on a BDTOPO ® snapshot in a part of Blois city center.
