              <p>Scientific visualization enables a deeper insight into data structures and properties. For Gas and fluid simulations, particularly those resulting from real-world gas captures or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models, require the analysis and integration of multivariate attributes alongside dynamic temporal variations. We present our framework for a scalable volume rendering application designed for with an improved Out-of-core system to handle massive 3D temporal multivariate datasets from CFDs. Our rendering framework, called FRIGAS (Fluid Rendering Infrastructure for Gas and Atmospheric Simulations), introduces a novel pipeline which leverages improvements in Direct Volume Rendering (DVR) techniques for large scale visualizations, addressing constraints regarding temporal structured data and multivariate analysis for interactive spatial and temporal navigation without HPC resources.</p>

            <abstract xml:lang="fr">
              <p>La visualisation scientifique évolue en parallèle de l’augmentation constante de la taille des ensembles de données, du nombre de méthodes de génération de ces données et de la demande croissante en ressources de calcul adaptées. Les jeux de données atteignent désormais des tailles de l’ordre du pétaoctet, générés par des processus de captation ou de simulation. Des travaux antérieurs [1], [6], [12] ont exploré ce défi en proposant de nouvelles méthodes de calcul pour le rendu volumique, permettant une gestion efficace et interactive de grands volumes de données, même en l’absence de ressources de calcul haute performance (HPC). Parmi ces approches, les méthodes Out-Of-Core se distinguent comme une solution prometteuse, offrant une base solide pour la visualisation à grande échelle de résultats issus de la mécanique des fluides et des captures de gaz. Dans cet article, nous présentons FRIGAS, une application de rendu volumique optimisée, ainsi que son pipeline théorique. Nos contributions se concentrent sur la visualisation interactive de séquences temporelles (t timesteps) massives, multivariées (w variables), issues de simulateurs de dynamique des fluides (CFD - Computational Fluid Dynamics), en 3D + t + w. Notre approche vise à offrir aux utilisateurs un accès simplifié à ces ensembles de données complexes, tout en maintenant des performances de rendu élevées et simultanées sur les différentes variables étudiées.</p>
