Sub-Wavelength Energy Focusing Through a Fabry-Pérot Based MHz Elastic Extraordinary Acoustic Transmission System
Résumé
The Extraordinary Acoustic Transmission (EAT) phenomenon refers to the ability to concentrate wave energy in sub-wavelength domains beyond geometric principles suggest. This study presents and evaluates a MHz EAT system, fabricated with aluminum, using both Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations and an experimental approach. The results suggest potential applications in sub-wavelength ultrasonic nearfield microscopy and imaging.
