A negotiator from Aquileia dead a Dyrrachium
Un negotiator d'Aquilée mort à Dyrrachium
Résumé
A Latin epitaph discovered in Durrës (Albania) in 2012 keeps the memory of M. Anatinius Severus, a freedman, alive. Originally from Aquileia, he was a negotiator in the ancient port of Dyrrachium. The inscription probably dates back to the Augustan or Julio-Claudian age.
