Tablet microstructures induced by embossed features of compacting punch : case study analysis

Résumé

This poster presents an experimental and numerical development for studying powder compaction under punches with deep grooves. Comparison between predicted density distribution using FEM modelling and computed density from X-ray tomography measurements, shows good agreements, particularly in the area near the grooves and in between the faced grooves.
