Thermal transport properties of organic conductors: (TMTSF) 2PF6 and (TMTSF)2ClO4
Résumé
The thermal conductivity of the low-dimensional organic conductors (TMTSF)2ClO4 and (TMTSF)2PF6 under pressure has been measured between room temperature and 4.2K. The pressure dependence of the thermal and electrical transport properties supports strong anharmonicity of this type of material. A striking violation of the Wiedemann-Franz law is observed at low temperature and under a magnetic field. It is claimed that the data are consistent with the model of superconducting fluctuations existing far above the actual superconducting transition temperature at 1.2K.
