Résumé

Addressing the educational gap arising from diverse entry pathways into Higher Education in England presents unique challenges and opportunities. In this context, our work focuses on the diverse needs of Natural Sciences students. As part of our project, we developed contextualised NUMBAS resources informed by literature and practice. The proposed poster will present an a priori analysis of the contextualised dynamic resources created in NUMBAS as tools to identify and support the diverse mathematical needs of our students. The poster will discuss the anticipated benefits and limitations of these resources from three perspectives: (a) levelling the ground for students with diverse mathematical backgrounds, (b) enriching their learning experience, and (b) impacting their future scientific endeavours. Attendees will have an interactive opportunity to explore the resources during the poster session.
