Movement characterization of multirotor UAV based on their acoustic signature
Résumé
This paper introduces a novel approach for characterizing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) movements by leveraging instantaneous frequency information extracted from captured acoustic signals. Through the extraction of Instantaneous Frequency Laws (IFLs) from specific time-frequency regions of interest, polynomial approximations are employed for characterization. These approximations facilitate the synthesis of reference signals describing the UAV's primary movements. The proposed UAV sensing approach is experimental validated considering a multirotor UAV.
