Development and Deployment of Innovative Case Study: From Industrial Research Collaboration to Learning Transformation
Résumé
Educational programs are continuesely evolving, adapting to their context and the competencies they aim to develop. We view innovative teaching as an ongoing journey rather than a destination. Each time a professor engages in new development, new opportunities emerge (even when a pedagogical project appears complete) driving continuous improvement, adaptation, and refinement of teaching materials. This paper primarily introduces an innovative program designed for engineering students in the International Master of Enterprise Engineering. Originally developed in collaboration with an aerospace industry partner, the case study presented has been restructured to align with our research objectives. It is designed to enhance students' competencies and empower their problem-solving abilities when confronted with real-world challenges. Industrial scenarios that expose operational inefficiencies serve as valuable exercises in critical thinking. By presenting authentic case studies, this approach stimulates students engagement, motivating them to actively participate beyond passive listening in traditional academic settings
