              <p>Poker, Setser, Granato, and Birnbaum [Phys. Rev. B 29, 622 (1984)] recently reported on a low-temperature ultrasonic study of trapped hydrogen in niobium. Poker et al. ignore some recent experimental results which show that hydrogen tunneling can be treated as tunneling in glasses. Their experimental results are reconsidered in the framework of the corresponding theory.</p>
