We report on the first direct measurements of the domain wall speed and nucleation rate in ultrathin magnetic films with perpendicular anistropy. Nucleation process becomes dominating over the domain wall motion in higher fields, leading to changes in relaxation magnetization curve. The influence of the sample thickness is briefly discussed.
