            <abstract xml:lang="en">
              <p>We present an extensive study of the in-plane current voltage characteristics of the layered organic superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2 in magnetic fields applied perpendicular to the superconducting planes. By an analysis of the data in the framework of thermally assisted flux flow, we are able to extract the temperature and field dependence of the depinning critical current Ic. Furthermore, we derive the vortex correlation volume and show that the correlation length parallel to the field decreases with increasing field, as expected due to the growing intraplane vortex interactions.</p>
