LITHIUM CONTENT IN SEDIMENTARY ROCKS IN GALE CRATER, AEOLIS MONS, AS A TRACER FOR AQUEOUS ALTERATION AND SOURCE ROCKS

Résumé

A systematic variation in abundance of the excellent tracer element, Lithium, is found across the major chemostratigraphic groups of sedimentary rocks in Gale crater which can be linked to aqueous alteration and changes in the dominant source rock.
