Quantitative methods for estimating the gravitropic and proprioceptive sensitivities of plant stems — Simple tilt
Méthodes quantitatives d'estimation des sensibilités gravitropique et proprioceptive des tiges de plante — Inclinaison simple
Résumé
The gravitropic movements of plant stems can be described by a mathematical model, the Angle-Curvature (AC) model. This model involves two parameters: the gravitropic sensitivity (associated with stem inclination) and the proprioceptive sensitivity (associated with local stem curvature). Quantitative methods exist for estimating both sensitivities. This video illustrates the "Simple tilt" method.
