Résumé
This article examines the papacy’s reaction to the evolution of a political movement in Brazil that saw fascism as its model of action. After a brief review of the origins and characteristics of the Ação Integralista Brasileira, founded in the 1930s, the essay will focus on the orientations adopted by the Brazilian ecclesiastical hierarchy and the Roman curia towards this political movement in Brazil.
