              <p>The growing emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) contributes greatly to the deterioration of the environment, altering the planet with climate change, ozone depletion, deforestation, water scarcity, and increasing pollution of water and air. Among the large diversity of VOCs, a particular attention is given to aromatic compounds, due to their deleterious effects on human health. The selective sorption of these VOCs is thus a challenging issue for both their total abatement and trace detection applications. Amongst different potential adsorbents, Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are attractive hybrid materials which are well known for their rich structural diversity. They can thus be tuned for specific host-guest interactions at nanoscale to fit properly the application requirements for selective VOC sorption. Despite the well-known affinity of palladium toward rich π systems, the studies dedicated to VOC capture with Pd(II) based-MOFs are still very scarce. Intending to shed more light on this topic,</p>
