              <p>Solar-assisted pyrolysis is a sustainable process for converting biomass into bio-oil using renewable solar-thermal energy with potentiallyzero carbon footprint. The developed low-temperature solar-assisted pyrolysis reactor aims to reach a higher bio-oil yield from thewaste biomass by operating at an optimal reaction temperature of around 400-600 °C.</p>
