              <p>Le fraisage de voiles minces en titane présente deux particularités essentielles : i) l’usinage du titane nécessite des faibles vitesses de coupe et ii) la flexion élevée des voiles minces entraînent des vibrations susceptibles d’instabilités. Ces deux particularités font que, pour ces usinages, il est important de prendre en compte l’interaction entre la face en dépouille de l’outil et la pièce usinée. Cette interaction conduit à des efforts de talonnage dont les efforts de labourage (ploughing en anglais) sont une composante. Historiquement, il est constaté que cette interaction a un impact sur la stabilité d’usinage et qu’elle est classiquement prise en compte en introduisant un amortissement visqueux linéaire.L’étude proposée porte sur la modélisation du fraisage d’un voile mince en alliage de ti- tane pour reproduire, par simulation temporelle, des résultats expérimentaux. Sont pris en compte : la flexibilité dynamique de la pièce, un modèle détaillé de l’outil (face de coupe et orientation de la face en dépouille), l’enlèvement de la matière et l’interaction entre la face en dépouille de l’outil et la pièce. On montre notamment que les simulations sans prise en compte de cette dernière interaction ont les amplitudes de vibration excessives qui ne correspondent pas aux expériences. On montre également que la prise en compte de cette interaction par un modèle linéaire permet d’améliorer sensiblement la fidélité des simulations. Cependant, si on souhaite être au plus proche des résultats expérimentaux, un modèle non-linéaire s’avère plus fidèle.</p>
