A preliminary Case Study on University Course Timetabling using Constraint Programming and Operations Research

Résumé

This paper addresses a real-world problem in university timetable management. We begin by11 describing the problem in detail, focusing on one particular teaching department, and then we12 propose a possible solution using constraint programming and operations research techniques. Finally,13 we discuss the advancements and trends in university timetable management over recent years.
