Effect of two commercial prebiotics, K1® and NUTRIGEO L®, on soil’s fertility parameters
Résumé
As cropland fertility decreases, agriculture is shifting towards a more sustainable paradigm intending to maintain, and if possible, restore the agricultural soils. Among the various tools and technics developed around this problematic, prebiotics are biostimulants acting on the already existing microorganisms from the plant’s rhizosphere. They have proven to greatly benefit plant’s growth [1,2]. Enzymatic activites, as well as the fungal:bacterial ratio, as soil fertility indicators were investigated this study. A greenhouse experimental setup was used to verify the effect of two commercial prebiotics, NUTRIGEO L ®, K1 ®, and a control (referred as SPN, SPK, and SP respectively).
