For several years, religion in the workplace has been an issue raised with particular acuity in France. The concept of community remains central to thinking about the relationship between the individual and the whole, between singularity and universality, and in explaining the multiple forms of political and social organization. “Consecrated” by the texts that jurisprudence has worked on, the notion of labor community participates in the recognition of the enterprise as an institution insofar as the enterprise contributes to shaping the representation of the work environment
