Reconfigurable architecture for point-to-point bidirectional access networks allowing multirate and extended reach

Résumé

An SOA and switch enable the bypass of a PtP OLT to obtain reconfigurable (via AMCC)multirate 25 Gbit/s NRZ or 50 Gbit/s PAM4 bidirectional real time transmission and extended reach up to 40 km (80 km total reach).
