Médée, la guerre ou le vagabondage parmi les étoiles ?
Résumé
This article attempts to wrest Medea from a reading focused only on the tragic. Medea is the “historical” name of a woman who suffers all the consequences of war. What to do in this torment? Medea either suffers her condition or turns into a lioness (Euripides, Mishima) and goes off to war. Her war is, however, like all ‘wars of the poor’, a war of liberation (Pasolini, Olavo). Medea also suggests the possibility of a definitive exit from the world of war created by patriarchy and imperialism: a permanent wandering on the chariot of the Sun (Giordano Bruno).
