A polymer hydrogel with high stretchability, good self-recovery and strong adhesiveness
Résumé
In this work, the acrylamide, acrylic acid and hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer are applied to prepare an ultra-high strain (5700%), good self-recovery and strong adhesion hydrogels. After a single cycle stretching at strain of 1500%, the hydrogel can recover about 80% of its dissipated energy. The hydrogels show a strong adhesion property, which makes it easy to adhere to a variety of materials. With the prolongation of adhesion time and the gradual evaporation of water, the adhesion ability of hydrogels increases. The hydrogels will have a bright future in the fields of flexible wearable materials and adhesives
