Fake Noses, REal Masks and One Big Headache
Résumé
It may seem easier to document Orson Welles' failures than his achievements, and The documentary The'll Love me When I'm dead follows this pattern by stating that Welles never could break free from the towering success of Citizen Kane. Yet Welles completed fourteen films in his lifetime, as wellas enjoying a career in radio television and on the stage. He could be unpredictable but he could bring out the best in those around him, which is why he was vilified by Hollywood, but inspired un wavering loyalty in those who worked for him.
