Self, me, I : constructs of experience by/for subjects-in-activity
Often regarded as illegitimate in terms of the disciplinary criteria that ‘make science’ , the relationship we have with the beings and things of the world we inhabit can, on the contrary, be analysed as a construct of experience, research material, which informs us about the simultaneity and consubstantiality of the construction of subjects in activity and of activity itself by avoiding the substantification and reification of the researcher's analytical concepts. Distinguishing in the constructs of experience between the ‘self’ defined as a unit of perception of engagement in an activity, the ‘I’ as a unit of representation of the self in activity, and the ‘I’ as an image of the self given by the self to others or to the self, can contribute to this.
