Use of the ePortfolio at the EPF engineering school: from prototype to self-learning course
Utilisation de l'ePortfolio à l'EPF école d'ingénieur.e.s : du prototype au cours d'auto-apprentissage
Résumé
This article presents the experience of EPF Ecole d'Ingénieurs in setting up an ePortfolio accompanied by a digital self-learning pathway to promote skills development and professional integration for future engineers. Several studies confirm that the use of an ePortfolio can contribute to developing students' reflexivity (Loisy and Lison, 2013; Le Boucher et Al., 2018), which is essential for becoming aware of one's learning, know-how and interpersonal skills in order to easily insert oneself into the world of work. To achieve this, it is necessary to regularly analyze one's academic, social, professional and personal experiences and identify one's strong points to build on and one's weak points to improve, with the help of a tool that aims to support the approach from both a pedagogical and professional point of view. The feedback and results presented in this article encourage reflection on the issues involved in implementing ePortfolio in similar contexts.
