COLLECTIVE INTEREST IN COOPERATIVE ENTERPRISES: A SOCIOLOGICAL APPROACH
Résumé
This paper proposes a sociological approach to the notion of collective interest, based on a survey of Scops, cooperative enterprises owned by their employees. While these enterprises are intended to defend the collective interests of their members, the content of these collective interests is determined only gradually, following a learning process. It is also formed through confrontation and adjustments between the divergent conceptions of the members of the cooperative.
