Résumé
The opening of China decided in 1978 was intended (among others) to welcome foreign investments and technology in order to relieve the country of several decades of Maoism. The Westerners then mastered all areas (political, financial, technological and commercial) excluding those linguistic and cultural, rushed into this “promised land” and transferred “without counting” many of their technologies and know-how on a “field” they thought they will mastered to produce their products at low costs, which were sold at high prices in the West.
