Résumé
Distant Movement(s) is a series of performances experimenting with online togetherness and the possibility to experience dance in front of a screen, while we close our eyes.
Exploring, being attentive and dancing together are the key concepts of this artistic experience.
The project originated in 2018 from a combination of two different approaches, both anchored in exploring bodily sensation. The project has been lead by Annie Abrahams, and Daniel Pinheiro digital artists, Muriel Piqué choreographer.
During the pandemic, sessions were organised on Zoom, giving the opportunity to artists and publics to connect through a guided somatic experience. This interview conducted by Ivan Magrin-Chagnolleau and myself was an oppotunity to discuss the protocoles of such an experimentation
